History & Spirit
Located in La Couture-Boussey, Normandy, Maison JTL is an early 19th century residence, closely linked to the history of Jérôme Thibouville-Lamy, a major figure in French instrument making.
La Couture-Boussey is historically recognized as one of the cradles of musical instrument manufacturing — a heritage still visible in the architecture and soul of the place.
Completely renovated by its current owners, the house has been designed around this heritage: antique documents, objects, instruments and references to musical craftsmanship punctuate the spaces. The aim is not to create a museum, but a living space: preserving history while offering a welcoming, functional and warm place.

Maison JTL welcomes weddings, family celebrations, birthdays and private events in a calm, green environment.
The site can be fully or partially privatized, depending on the period and nature of the event. A large reception room, outdoor spaces and the garden allow for convivial moments — including cocktail receptions.
Music is allowed within a defined framework, to maintain harmony with the neighborhood. Each project is studied on a case-by-case basis, in a spirit of dialogue and respect for the place.

Maison JTL is particularly suited to hosting seminars, training courses and residential workshops.
Depending on room organization (single or shared), the venue can accommodate groups of 17 to 30 people for professional stays.
The natural setting and tranquility of the site promote concentration, exchange and group cohesion.

A private spa accessible by reservation, as a complement to your stay.

Priority access
The spa is reserved as a priority for guests who have booked accommodation or reception areas — especially for weekend rentals and events.
Occasional access
Time slots may be offered to external visitors, mainly during the week, subject to availability — without ever penalizing site guests.
Treatments & massages
Possibility to add massages (solo or duo) and, on request, beauty treatments, hairdressing or nail care — in collaboration with external practitioners, on quote.
The spa and treatments are a real plus, offered as a complement — never an automatic promise.
